On Friday April 17, 2015, Opera Gallery had opened its doors with a rich collection as well as an attractive and diverse cultural program.
Opera Gallery creates this spring’s cultural event with the opening of its
new Parisian address, 62, rue du faubourg Saint-Honoré. Collections, original and personal exhibitions will be displayed over 1000 m2 and two floors in an exceptional venue that tells some of the capital’s finest stories.
Established in the heart of Paris since its creation in 1994, Opera Gallery is affirming its strong desire to offer the best possible overview of its artistic choices in a tailor-made venue, through original thematic or solo exhibitions, and to promote emerging artists whose work has never before been presented in France.
Since the creation of Opera Gallery in 1994, Gilles Dyan has been a strong and passionate supporter of modern and contemporary art.
Opera Gallery has built up a collection of works as eclectic as they are remarkable, bringing together some of the most emblematic signatures of the 20th century and some of the most promising artists of our time.
For its inaugural exhibition on April 17, Opera Gallery presented a “Grand Opening” showcasing the diversity of its collections, paying tribute to its artists while revealing new talent.
Paintings, sculptures, photographs, design… so many artists, so many proposals that question and interrogate the visitor. Each work is open to a plurality of viewpoints, opening the imagination to infinity.
