The Glenlivet innovates and unveils its new Speyside Scotch Single Malt, embodying the distillery’s entire history.
Crafted by Cellar Master Alan Winchester, The Glenlivet Founder’s Reserve has an elegant, fruity profile. The combination of traditional oak casks and a fine selection of first-fill American barrels gives it balance and smoothness.
The reference is inspired by the original profile of The Glenlivet, created by George Smith in the early 19th century. The ambition of this visionary man gave rise to a unique, delicate style, achieved through the use of conical stills with long swan necks. His Single Malt has since established itself as the benchmark for Speyside whiskies. Nearly 200 years later, Founder’s Reserve pays homage.
Pale gold in color. The nose reveals delicate aromas of citrus and sweet orange. On the palate, sweet notes of orange zest and pear with a tangy hint of apple. A balanced, delicate bouquet.
The Glenlivet Founder’s Reserve is available in supermarkets at the recommended retail price of 24.90 euros.
