Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, An avant-garde group in tune with the times

The Société des Bains de Mer has just announced that it has obtained Green Globe certification for its undisputed wellness and preventive health establishment: Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo.

Green Globe certification is a prestigious, world-renowned accolade in the demanding luxury travel and tourism industry, and Les Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo achieved 251 points out of 311 audited indicators, representing a high level of satisfaction of 82% of Green Globe criteria, making it one of the most virtuous spa establishments in this field.Les Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo is the third establishment of the Société des Bains de Mer to obtain Green Globe certification, after the Monte-Carlo Beach and the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort. The Société des Bains de Mer thus confirms its commitment to developing its certification program in line with the Group’s strategy and the expectations of its customers. The deployment of Green Globe certification thus reinforces the Group’s more assiduous use of the normative requirements of sustainable tourism, in a genuine spirit of continuous improvement. The Green Globe reference framework covers all CSR approaches for sustainable tourism, and is divided into 40 themes broken down into more than 300 compliance indicators, some of which are mandatory, others optional. Certification is awarded on the basis of an audit, once the mandatory requirements have been met and the indicator compliance rate exceeds 50% for each theme. Continuous improvement is required every year to maintain certification.
