The Y/Project fashion show for Paris Fashion Week was held at the legendary Gibus. The underground atmosphere was there, and so was the crowd, very curious to discover the new Autumn-Winter 2016-2017 collection.

Glenn Martens, who has been at the helm of Y/Project since 2013, was able to impose his vision for this collection, a blend of several influences: a little neo-gothic, grunge, medieval, sportswear and punk. The show, set to metal music, featured models with assertive, fierce looks. The collection’s star pieces were jeans, in extra-long, slim or cowboy styles. Jackets and coats, meanwhile, were either in big perfecto-style leather, or straight in a much more classic shape, or bomber-style with long zippers on the sleeves.

The color range includes gray, black, khaki, red, navy, white, camel, houndstooth and reptile patterns. In terms of materials, Glenn Martens chose velvet, mesh, leather, tulle and cotton.

With this new collection, Glenn Martens has taken us even further into his universe.
