Guerlain HIC_V4_300(2) MO Version

As we enter June, calendars are turning to the rhythm of weddings. Whether they’re royal or celebrity, country or cutting-edge, weddings revive the search for the “ideal man”.

Guerlain reinvents the myth and stages a wave of women chasing this elusive being. Elusive, there’s nothing left of him but a few intoxicating notes of perfume.

Since its creation in 1882, Guerlain has distinguished itself by combining unique fragrances and exceptional raw materials from the four corners of the globe to create legendary perfumes. For this new version of L’Homme Idéal, the house maintains the freshness of the initial version. Fresh almond gives this fragrance a Cologne effect: it’s not raw, aggressive masculinity. The woody side of flagrance, anchored by patchouli and vetiver imported directly from India, is tipped by almond and a top note resulting from the harmony between grapefruit, orange, bergamot and a surprising hint of Campari. This ideal man is summer, relaxing by the turquoise waters.

L-Homme Ideal Cologne Flacon M

The bottle, designed as a luminous version of its predecessor, plays on the confusion of genders and invites women, with a discreet gesture, to unscrupulously take hold of the bottle to taste, in three olfactory moments, this ideal man. Failing an encounter with virile masculinity (made up of white vetiver and musk), with the sweetness of almond and the energy of citrus, Guerlain offers an escape that makes it easier to bear the harsh reality that the ideal man doesn’t exist.

Guerlain is more than a perfumer: an explorer, a storyteller of myths, he offers men an alter-ego that satisfies all the desires of these ladies, an ideal contained in a bottle to which we say “yes”.
