I don’t know if you’re like me, but I love wearing suits, or perfectly pressed shirts. The problem is that once worn, suits wrinkle, fold and crease, and then it’s drama.
Then you have to find a dry cleaner, and there are two questions. Do I trust this dry cleaner? And when am I going to have time to pick up this damn suit? Because, of course, the times are never right.
A short while ago, we discovered Cleanio, a super-practical service for busy men in a hurry.
The Cleanio story began when co-founders Richard, Florian and Guilherme left school and started their first jobs. Busy with their respective activities, their free time became increasingly scarce and the chores of daily life more and more tedious. One in particular: cleaning their clothes. Between the hours at the dry cleaners not adapted to their lifestyle, their apartment too small to have a washing machine, and the hours of hassle waiting at the local launderette, they couldn’t find a way to get rid of the pile of dirty laundry accumulating in their home. So they came up with the idea of creating a simpler, faster and more suitable way to get their clothes cleaned, and those of thousands of French people in the same situation as them. Cleanio was born in March 2014.
The Cleanio iPhone application is a pure on-demand service. Once registered, users simply book a “Groom” at the time and address of their choice. The Groom then comes to the customer’s home to collect his or her clothes. 48 hours later, the clothes are returned clean and ironed.

Because household chores are hard enough as it is, when our teams developed Cleanio, they had just one objective: to imagine a clear and simple user experience.
This clarity is also reflected in the pricing, with one price and one price only for each of the items on offer.
One-click ordering
Booking a Cleanio Groom takes no more than a minute. Once the user has added their address, all they have to do is select a place and time for their clothes to be picked up and returned. With Cleanio, there’s no need to repeat yourself. Users fill in their details on registration (address, telephone number, means of payment) and don’t need to do so again.
Real-time tracking
From order confirmation to garment return, users keep a close eye on their order. No more unpleasant surprises!
Having tested the service, I can confirm that it’s efficient and saves an enormous amount of time. As for the clothes, there’s nothing to complain about!
