New L’EAU D’ISSEY advertising campaign

In 2014 , Issey Miyake continues the Eaux dIssey saga with the launch of its new advertising copy.

The fragrances of L’Eau d’Issey and L’Eau d’ssey pour Homme, created by perfumer Jacques Cavallier, are matched by the images created by the photographers. Since 1992, everyone has taken their turn to look at Leau d’Issey and L’Eau d’Issey pour Homme.
Irving Penn, the genius of light and image. Guido Mocafico, a lillusionist of form, plays with still life like a painter composes a vanitas. Marcus Tomlison, the brilliant visionary who dares to explode water in an extraordinary burst.

In an original campaign shot by photographer Daniel Jouanneau, the two fragrances show themselves in a new light. No break with previous campaigns, but continuity. The same graceful purity and simplicity, revealing a bold poetry.

Above all, no woman, no man, no degeneration.
And always an extreme purity, a harmony of simple, subtle forms. It’s also an obvious choice, out of time and out of fashion.

The photographer chooses to highlight the elements of nature, evoking the fragrance itself.

Both campaigns are spontaneous and poetic. The elements have only just been deposited in the water, it seems, and it’s still quivering on its surface.

Like a dialogue through the eyes, Issey Miyake’s images tell us that pure water on the skin is the most beautiful fragrance in the world.
