W Paris reinvents its restaurant with “Coquette

Closed for a few months at the beginning of the year, the hotel has reopened under a new impetus and with a host of exciting plans.
His restaurant has completely reinvented itself, abandoning Spanish cuisine and tapas in favor of playful, inventive bistro fare that plays with French classics and urban influences.
A concept accessible 24/7, adapted to all tastes and dietary particularities, that won us over.
Located on the first floor of the hotel, Le Coquette was created to offer visitors from all over the world and Parisians alike inventive, fun cuisine that is French in style and international in the diversity of its offerings.

To develop the Coquette menu concept, Executive Chef Julien Gasperi drew inspiration from the energy of Paris and the capital’s cosmopolitan culinary scene, preserving purely French flavors with city influences and a zest of humor.
A real creative twist where typical dishes become unexpected and appetizing, such as the “Loabster Hangover” – a delicious fresh lobster marinated in whisky – or the “Beef, in the Mist” – a fillet of beef infused with thyme. Coquette also caters for all dietary needs, with dishes suitable for allergy sufferers (gluten, lactose…) as well as vegetarians and vegans, allowing diners to come together to enjoy a delicious meal.
In keeping with this atypical menu, Coquette’s new décor juxtaposes classic decor with highly contemporary elements. Large guest tables welcome groups of friends, while comfortable secluded banquettes allow for a more private gathering.
French street artist Honet’s fresco above the wide curved bar pays homage to Georges Louis Leclerc de Buffon – a naturalist, biologist and philosopher – who amusingly drew analogical portraits of animals behaving like humans!
In the Lounge area of Coquette, artist collective Andrea Crews has taken inspiration from Matisse’s famous painting “La Ronde”, to evoke the theme of celebration and happiness. A new vision of joie de vivre, created by several hands using overprint and stencil techniques.
This is a place to try out as a matter of urgency, where you’ll have a great time thanks to the luminous setting and playful, high-quality cuisine that takes us back to childhood, much to our delight.
