Burberry is undoubtedly one of the brands that best understands digital. Today, it’s innovating once again with Pinterest. This is the very first time that a beauty brand has created a bespoke experience for its consumers on Pinterest.
This partnership with Pinterest, which coincides with the launch of Burberry Cat Lashes mascara, leverages the Pinterest API to enable consumers to receive personalized content monogrammed according to their make-up preferences: inspirations, tutorials, beauty tips and product information.
To promote this experience, Burberry and Sephora will offer dedicated joint posts on social networks as well as promotional Pinterest pins to invite consumers to connect via a short questionnaire. Based on the Pinterest API, the results of the questionnaire combined with users’ initials will enable the creation of personalized Pinterest boards.
