Every evening should be an opportunity to dress up in dresses that shine, light up and make a statement. For the upcoming festivities, designers are adding some rather eye-catching elements. The choice is yours. First: sequins. They’re as popular as ever: silver, burgundy, violet, bronze or even black. The sheaths are adorned with stones, embroidery and sequins, to make you see the world in light with these details that change everything. Roberto Cavalli takes us right into the second idea: bangs, which are constantly being renewed and added to the bottom, sides and edges of an outfit… to the point of becoming more technical and sophisticated, but still able to make a great impact in the evening. Alber Elbaz at Lanvin was one of the forerunners of this fringe trend, but with the addition of feathers to adorn evening pieces. The night birds are ready to take flight, and these feathers bring volume and movement to increasingly precious outfits.
