In the heart of the chic 16th arrondissement, nestles the sophisticated Cristal Room Baccarat. A dream location! Lunch in this restaurant is a true experience. A rare moment. In the kitchen, Adrien Manac’h.

Located in the heart of the Baccarat Museum, the restaurant is a little nugget. The setting is magical. High ceilings and magnificent chandeliers. Philippe Stark contributed to the decor. The menu was designed by the famous chef Guy Martin, but it’s the very talented Adrien Manac’h who officiates in the kitchen. At lunchtime, the restaurant offers a tempting lunch menu and more à la carte dishes.

For starters, we tempt you with steamed king prawns with orange-marinated endives and toasted sesame seeds. Truly divine! Paired with a Savoy wine, the marriage is perfect.

Next, a very aesthetic and tasty dish: cod cooked a la plancha with steamed kale, radish and green apple emulsion. The apple adds pep. The cod is cooked just right.

For dessert, we enjoyed an old-fashioned chocolate-praline gold palet refreshed with a pear sorbet. Melt-in-the-mouth and fresh at the same time. The apotheosis of this lunch was to be able to drink a 1962 vintage pineau in two different glasses to grasp the nuances.

All in all, the Cristal Room Baccarat is a unique place in Paris. It’s a romantic little cocoon that’s well worth a visit, and you too can take advantage of the superb exhibition dedicated to the 250th anniversary of the Baccarat house.
