The Palais de Tokyo is the venue chosen by Manish Arora to present his new Spring/Summer 2014 women’s ready-to-wear collection.
A recurring source of inspiration for Bollywood life, Manish Arora takes us on a journey through several worlds for this new season.
In the image of the Manish woman, the collection is surprising and always full of color.
Pastel and pep colors, such as yellow, pink and flash blue mixed with shades of water green and violet, enhance the models’ looks.
With an air of Charleston, mixed with oversized sportswear and the singularity of Josephine Baker, the Manish woman, in her Spring/Summer 2014 version, is at her best: wide sweater, short or fringed dress, trompe l’oeil top, all pieces are embroidered with rhinestones, in psychedelic prints or not.
The modern ensemble appeared in a casual “flash” style, always accessorized with earrings, rings, glasses and, above all, for the first time, a collection of shoes with fluorescent laces, emblazoned with the pink heart, highlighting the codes of the house with a retro/modern air.
The quirky side is provided by a white-platinum hairstyle tousled at the back, with a light complexion and eyes traced with white kohl backed by flash colors.
Once again, Manish Arora signs a bewitching collection all his own, and accedes to the throne of the Bollywood empire revisited.
