INGIE PARIS in the vintage colors of California, the gentle way of life of the 70s.
The spring 2018 collection liberates the body: straight cuts, measured volumes, radical and comfortable, like ultra-light caftans and tunics. Afternoon, ballad or poolside party dresses, as well as high, straight or loose-fitting low-waisted pants, soft tops and sharper & cut tailored pieces make up an elegant and complete wardrobe.
The evening gowns, key pieces in the INGIE PARIS collections, are true to its codes: glamorous, sparkling, long and graceful. Couture and technical fabrics mingle, highlighted by handmade silk pleats that outline the shoulders and waist. Silk gazar, emblematic of the house, contrasts with a new arrival in the house’s collections: soft, creamy jersey with a neoprene texture. The skin is covered in pale gold sequins with pinkish highlights, reflecting the rays of the Californian sun in a thousand and one sparkles. Sleeved pieces are also studded with sequins, this time silver, and the sequined guipure is reminiscent of a delicate moucharabieh that covers and reveals the skin. Draped in printed silk chiffon with a graphic pastel wave motif, we’re reminded of a San Francisco state of mind. A set of silk pajamas printed with palmettes, bandana-style, brings vivid colors sliced through white, the pattern evokes vacations and blurs with every movement.
Black and ivory take pride of place, in guipure, in lamé ottoman with sparkling reflections, in crepe or satin… Another ottoman, Bayadère-style, mixes bright pink and jade, aqua and lilac, in fine stripes. Accessories are in the colors of the collection, floral and elegant. The shoe family expands: dahlia sandals, orchid sandals, mules and frilly pumps play with heights of 5, 10 and 12 cm. Bags and clutches are hand-painted, embroidered and unique. Jewelry is in pale or rose gold, lace and golden hair, with pearls embellishing the sets, the INGIE PARIS signature.
