Bulles de Luxe at Vinexpo

A few days ago, the 2013 edition of Vinexpo was held in Bordeaux, the international wine trade show that takes place every other year in the Bordeaux city before heading off to Asia. We were there, and we’ve unearthed a few nuggets that should look great on your tables.
Let’s start with the Canard-Duchene champagne bucket, which breaks with convention by becoming square and adorning itself in brushed aluminum, celebrating both simplicity and high refinement. Next up is Park cognac and its XO Extra, an amber-colored liquid with spicy touches that will win over even the most reluctant connoisseurs. And then there’s the luxury of the famous Petrus or Yquem, whose bottles fetch astronomical prices (needless to say, we’re all about the pleasure of the eyes), but which hide so well in their Cordier-Mestrezat trunks, with their precious finishes and small numbered ingots, as if to emphasize their rarity!
Last but not least, it would have been a shame for Luxsure to omit champagnes, the luxury bubbles par excellence, with Gosset’s Celebris 2002 and 2007 cuvées and the brand-new Brimoncourt sparkling wine.

A luxury experience that we recommend if you have the opportunity to attend this very special show!
