Diptyque’s first product is the famous candles that smell divine. Personally, “Baies” is my favorite, a best seller but I’m still addicted to it.
This week, I was at Diptyque’s HQ at the emblematic 34 boulevard Saint-Germain, Paris, to preview the company’s new products. After the boutique on the first floor, the second floor was a veritable boudoir dedicated to the world of Diptyque, which celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2011. For the occasion, the “34” fragrance was created, including an eau de parfum to die for.
This year will see the release of “La Collection 34 et son bazar”, which will include a multitude of items, including eaux de parfum, candles (beautiful candle holders with photophore), products for the body, the home (note the scented pebble to make your clothes smell good in the wardrobe) and stationery. In fact, the notebooks are so graphic that we’ll deliberately leave them on our table as decorative objects.
The objects in Diptyque’s “La Collection 34 et son bazar” will be available in September 2014 in the brand’s boutiques at Printemps Haussmann, Galeries Lafayette and Le Bon Marché.
