Last Monday, Lejaby presented its capsule collection created in collaboration with designer Léa Peckre.
On the one hand, Maison Lejaby, a benchmark in high-end French lingerie for 130 years, and which, through its Maison Lejaby Couture collection, is increasingly working on pieces on the borderline between lingerie and ready-to-wear, known as “dessus-dessous”.
On the other, Léa Peckre, a young 29-year-old designer whose first collections revealed a pronounced taste for architectural volumes and dark colors… and who is also fascinated by lingerie and its technicality. The result was Léa Peckre’s first ready-to-wear line for Maison Lejaby.
The designer was given carte blanche; she travelled to Lyon to meet the teams, visit the workshops and discover the company’s archives.
The highlights of the collection are the laser-cut work in thick fabric. The resulting floral pattern is applied to a bustier. Neoprene gives the collection a sportswear feel.
