New York Fashion Week A/W 2013: Marc Jacobs

Postponed due to snow, the Marc Jacobs show was a long time coming, beyond the usual hustle and bustle of the designer’s shows. A total of 55 wigs were created for the show, giving the models a rock ‘n’ roll look. With their shaggy, grungy hair, the hairstyles contrasted well with the satin and business-like pieces in the collection. Make-up, too, was very ’90s: the eyebrows were thick, and the eyes marked with black pencil. The mouth is kept in a soft pink. A little trick: white pencil on the inside of the eye to make the eyes stand out even more.
