Easter at the Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme

For Easter, Pastry Chef Pier-Marie Le Moigno is offering a real hen’s egg… in chocolate! Simplicity, purity and delicacy were the Pâtissier’s watchwords in creating this culinary masterpiece. “I wanted to give depth to this creation by illustrating the fragile, simple and delicate side of the eggshell. That’s why this free-range egg arrived with cracks and a hole in its center…”, explains Pier-Marie.
The egg is made from two types of chocolate: white, not very sweet, for the outer coating, and dark organic fair-trade chocolate (70% cocoa content) for the inside. And of course, it’s topped with a delicious friture made from a blend of chocolates!
The Easter egg will be on display at La Cheminée, and will go on sale as a limited edition on March 25 for €80 each. For further information or to order the egg, please contact Julia Plagiau on 01 58 71 10 60 or by email at [email protected] .
