Called “Le jeu de la séduction”, this new collection features diamonds, of course, but also sapphires, rubies and emeralds to catch the light, emphasize the gaze and fan the flames of desire. Less colorful than usual, this collection takes up the brand’s characteristic scroll movements, but in a much more playful way for most of the pieces through modularity. A simple gesture is all it takes to change the way the jewel is worn. For example, the central motif of a necklace can be transformed into a pendant or brooch, or other motifs into earrings or even a hair ornament. Seduction becomes a game, depending on the desires of the woman wearing the jewelry.
The first ritual inspired by Boucheron is the delicate art of make-up, through the“Coquette Houpette” set. The houpette is reinterpreted in white gold and precious stones – purple, pink and blue sapphires. In addition to the central oval sapphire, this magnificent necklace has been embellished with real feathers that can be removed and replaced. Each of the three feather puffs is detachable and can be transformed into brooches. The necklace also comes exclusively in the form of a sliding ring necklace that can be worn in several lengths.
Sexy lingerie inspired two sets. The first, entitled“Taille de Guêpe“, recalls the finesse of a waist highlighted and magnified in a corset through a necklace set with pink cultured pearls and paved with diamonds, whose arched shapes recall the pink nuances of a corset with silk ribbons. The necklace can be transformed in a multitude of ways by removing one, several or all of the motifs that adorn it. A woman can adorn herself with a pair of earrings, two brooches and a pendant, while retaining a magnificent diamond-covered white gold necklace.
And what would a seductress be without chic lingerie, her most secret and intimate weapon of seduction? A lace strap peeking out from under a delicate fabric, a garter stealthily appearing, these are all very powerful devices. Boucheron was inspired by this temptation to create the“Dessous Chics” set. Set with nine emerald drops with a double row of diamonds reminiscent of the silk ribbons often used in lingerie, the necklace inspires the softness and suppleness of skin inviting caress with its diamond-paved lace motif.
Sometimes women like to adorn their hair with jewels, highlighting their hair and allowing them to play with a few strands. Maison Boucheron’s“Accroche Coeur” set was inspired by hair curls. The heart of the white gold necklace represents a hair curl surrounding a round diamond around which briolette diamonds swirl, reflecting light in all directions. Boucheron craftsmen have devised a system enabling the necklace to be transformed into four pieces: the central motif can be worn as a brooch, the double rows of briolette diamonds form two magnificent bracelets, while the necklace clasp transforms into a magnificent hair clip.
The woman finishes her preparations by enveloping herself in a bewitching trail of fragrance, leaving an unforgettable impression on the senses. The“Envoûtant Sillage” set evokes the vaporous movement of a rare and precious essence. Like a drop of a powerful elixir, a 3-carat pear-shaped diamond sparkles in the center of a fragrant veil of diamonds. The necklace’s central motif is removable and can be worn as a pendant or shorter. Like a perfume declined in different intensities,“Envoûtant Sillage” is also available in a lighter version on a chain.
Then comes the moment of encounter that inspired the“Baiser Volé” set. By emphasizing her lips with a double line of red, the woman invites a kiss, whether offered or stolen. The supple, voluptuous necklace of white diamonds, pink sapphires and rubies gives an impression of movement, ending in a swirl of red, surrounding a ruby representing the woman’s heart beating wildly under the blow of a kiss.
The charm has finally worked, the man can’t resist the“Fatal Attraction” and succumbs to temptation in a burst of passion. The multi-row necklace magnifies sapphires and diamonds in a white gold setting. The scarf of stones is brought together in a central swirl of diamonds and a cascade of sapphires leading to the ultimate central point symbolizing the intensity of emotions in a blue sapphire weighing over 4 carats.
Boucheron also offers a second collection, “Ma Jolie”, a reflection of the 1950s, which continues this quest for women’s desire to take care of themselves. The “Ma Jolie” ring is the centerpiece of this vintage-inspired collection, crafted in white or rose gold, set with multicolored stones or diamonds and set with a central stone, orange sapphire, diamonds or pink tourmaline.
Boucheron once again presents a beautiful Haute-Joaillerie collection inspired by the codes of seduction, playful and ultra-feminine.
