Maserati Classiche has issued a Certificate of Authenticity for a 1957 Maserati 200S, chassis no. 2406, Type 52.
Produced between 1955 and 1957 in a limited run of just 30 units, the 200S holds an important place in Maserati’s sporting history. This two-seater spider with an aluminum body epitomizes a key era in Italian motorsports.
The Maserati Classiche program, launched in 2021 in Modena, has now surpassed the 100-certification milestone. Each vehicle undergoes a thorough review of its technical specifications, historical documentation, and the company’s archives.
The certified 200S was discovered and restored in the 1980s by Ermanno Cozza, a key figure in Maserati’s heritage.
