From water and rock are the latest creations from Stéphane Rolland for the 2021/2022 winter season. but also a meeting with French artist Béatrice Serre will give birth to incredible embroideries in precious mineral mosaics .

The silhouette is supple, ample and generous. The trapeze lines of tunic dresses and long train vests meet the opulent roundness of sculptural crinolines. A long white sweater in foam crepe paved with Carrara marble leaves large armfuls of foam trailing behind. Limestone pebbles limestone pebbles become imposing finery, worn on long white vegetable leather gloves. A black tide of pleated organza flies from a rock crystal and white howlite-covered corset onto a giant skirt of night silk faille.

Filmed in the dawn light of the Basque country, Nieves Alvarez, absolute muse, evolves on the stretches of sand and dykes of Hendaye, Biarritz and Bidart, natural podiums. The first rays of daylight glide over the sea. A veritable solar bubble, the light crackles on an imperial jacket of yellow duchesse satin embroidered with cabochon mother-of-pearl. A mosaic of amber, marble and citrines flows over a long, ample tunic in gold lamé brocade. Another mosaic splashes jade and malachite on a long metallic mesh vest. A gigantic poncho, like a wave of white satin, is worn over yellow jersey pants stitched with gold rings. The sky ignites at dusk and, like an open-air opera, a hooded red satin crinoline, embroidered with red and white coral, melts into the last rays of the sun.
