The two brands join forces once again to recreate three parkas with unexpected proportions and graphic silhouettes.
This fall, Canada Goose and juun.j join forces in a second collaboration, reimagining three of Canada Goose’s historic iconic styles. For the first time, the highly sought-after collection launching in Fall 2019 will now be available in two new colors: white and navy, in addition to black.
Juun.j, known for his signature “street tailoring” aesthetic, deconstructs three of Canada Goose’s classic pieces, all originally designed to brave the coldest places on earth. The Resolute parka is known as the “industrial” parka of the North, worn by observatory workers in the High Arctic. The Expedition parka is the original extreme-weather coat developed for scientists working at McMurdo Station in Antarctica; and the Snow Mantra parka is reputed to be the warmest coat on Earth.
The Canada Goose x juun.j collection, made up of all unisex pieces, is the simple combination of juun.j’s avant-garde aesthetic and Canada Goose’s design focus on function. juun.j re-imagines the pieces with larger-than-life designs and exaggerated proportions. Each coat has its own unique touch, such as the 3-in-1 layered approach for the Resolute, an inner and outer hood for the Expedition and a fleece-lined neck guard for the Snow Mantra.
The Canada Goose x juun.j Expedition Parka (€1,495), the Snow Mantra Parka (€1,750) and the Resolute 3-in-1 parka (€1,595) have all been designed to combine tradition and innovation, while exceeding expectations.
Unpredictability and originality are exactly what this collaboration is all about, from its oversized proportions, to the contrasting reflective details and Canada Goose silver disc, the white color of this new collection has been designed for maximum impact.
Launched on November 11, Canada Goose x juun.j will be available online at CanadaGoose.com, in select Canada Goose and juun.j stores, and at select wholesale partners worldwide, including Luisa Via Roma, The Corner Berlin, Browns, L’Éclaireur, Vitkac, CNTRBND, SSENSE and Gr8.
