Maison CAMUS explores the limits of cognac production and embarks on a transoceanic voyage to the Caribbean.
In partnership with the TOWT sailing company, CAMUS is using the force of the wind to send 10 casks containing its finest cognac to the island of Barbados. After 45 days at sea, the casks will land in Bridgetown, where they will be entrusted to Richard Seale, master distiller at the historic Foursquare Rum Distillery, to spend a year maturing under tropical climatic conditions. The casks will return to France, where the eau-de-vie will be bottled to become the first cognac to undergo double maturation (oceanic and tropical).
