In the heart of the Marais, two young, bearded enthusiasts offer entirely home-cooked cuisine, complemented by carefully selected wines, all in an intimate setting. Discover Petit Commines’ winning recipe.
Since September 2016, Le Petit Commines has established its quarters in the Haut-Marais and since then the address has met with deserved success. On the evening of our visit, a rainy Monday, the room is packed. Why? Because Flavien Carucci and Mathieu Limon, nicknamed “Les Papounets”, are dusting off French gastronomy!
In this restaurant, you’ll find homemade dishes based on fresh produce selected from local producers! In fact, it has been awarded the Maître Restaurateur label. A guarantee of quality! This is the great advantage of this address, whose menu changes regularly. You can enjoy a pigeon terrine, celery carpaccio or beet borsh. For the main course, the pork loin or cod back is a knockout. Beef heart is finely cooked. For dessert, the homemade brioche perdue is divine.
The presentation of the wines is one of the most original parts of the evening. We’re asked, for example, if we “like walking in the forest”, if we “like Thai food”… A whole host of questions that determine the choice of wines for the evening.
Surprisingly friendly and open-minded, the team transforms your dinner into a bistronomic experience with a Parisian accent. In short, Luxsure warmly recommends this address.
