Sunday April 9 saw the 28th edition of Toques et Clochers, which this year attracted over 700 buyers from all over the world. 89 barrels were sold at the famous auction hosted by Toulouse auctioneer Maître Rémy Fournié and Aymeric de Clouet, wine expert and expert to the Paris Court of Appeal.
This 2017 edition took place in the small village of Cépie, which attracted over 40,000 visitors on Saturday April 8, the day before the auction! Throughout the day, conquered visitors were able to discover the Toques & Clochers cellars and taste their famous Limoux… not forgetting the traditional grand procession of Toques & Clochers winemakers, a sizeable and certainly spectacular event.

Half of the prestigious lots were acquired by foreign buyers, proof of Limoux’s international reputation.

1991, was responsible for selecting the wines for the Gala dinner. The two men, whose complicity dates back to their time together at Bernard Loiseau’s Relais, worked on the harmony of Toques & Clochers food and wine.
