Waly Fay expands with the opening of its second address, adjacent to the first…

The adventure began in 1997 with the restaurant Waly Fay, offering traditional West African specialties, thanks to chef Fatou Sylla, a native of Senegal.

The former Waly Fay

With its simple yet elegant surroundings, the restaurant has been radically oriented towards the land of “hospitality” since it opened: it was one of the first African restaurants to adopt an urban style in the capital.

You can sample a range ofWest and Central African dishes:

Yassa chicken(chicken with lime onion and mustard),

Moules de Bouchot à la camerounaise et à la saint-louisienne, Tiep Bou Dien (Senegalese rock grouper in a sauce made with mollusks and dried fish) or Poulet Gambas sauvages…

The new Waly Fay

The development of world cuisine in France is often held back by restaurateurs, who have not yet adapted to the new generations and more modern ways of eating.

This is how the second Waly Fay address came into being: an extension of the place that seeks above all to promote the culinary arts in general, and to democratize and “style” gastronomy.

At Waly Fay, you’ll find light, refined world cuisine, with dishes created by inventive chef Israfil Tekdal, who knows how to meet the expectations of an urban clientele.
