On September 15, 2015, British brand Burberry became the first luxury house to have its own channel on Apple Music, in the “Curators” section. A logical extension of the Burberry Acoustic platform founded in 2010 ( on You Tube), it is under the adjectives “exclusivity”, “unreleased”, “musical plurality”, “certified quality” that 100% made in Uk playlists are built. Spearheaded by the company’s creative director, Christophe Bailey, this channel is both a springboard for new talent and an opportunity to pay tribute to key musicians of the British spirit.

Sound trends often come from across the Channel. Listening to free radio was a veritable institution and a distinctive, rebellious act for young people in the sixties. Burberry is an iconic brand that doesn’t hesitate to showcase its made-in-Britain DNA. Benjamin Clementine, Ed Harcourt, Clare Maguire, Keane, Jake Bugg and Roo Panes have already collaborated with Burberry. For the launch of this collaboration with Apple, Lilla Vargen, Georgie and Rhodes will be in the spotlight, sharing behind-the-scenes stories, inspirations and discussions about music.
The brand is becoming a pioneer. Its collaboration with Snapchat on the occasion of the P/E 2016 women’s fashion show will give users of the platform preview access (on Sunday, September 20) to content from the collection captured furtively, in the creative studio.
