The Beauté Sélection salon in Bordeaux, attended by over 600 professionals, presented a parade of hairstyles imagined by Jean-Michel Faretra. The famous hairstylist strung fish braids in front of an audience of professionals eager to discover new techniques.
In all, six girls: five with braided extensions in pastel shades of pink, green or blue. One had gray hair, in the trend of the moment, waiting to be cut. All in Casual Chic style by Faretra Paris.
The fish braids added to the top of the head like Rock & Roll manes, and created in very tight lines, serve as a cutting base for Jean-Michel Faretra, who cuts into them with scissors to create volume and destructure the whole.
Jean-Michel Faretra cut an undercut on his clippers, while the dryer’s fan lifted the model’s hair.
In the end, a perfectly controlled 30-minute show, skilfully blending technique, fashion and spectacle in front of an audience both surprised and delighted to leave with a wealth of ideas.
