The first major retrospective on Jeanne Lanvin opened at the Palais Galliera on the bangs of Paris Fashion Week, the day after Alber Elbaz’s Lanvin presentation and in her presence. The exhibition gives the public an opportunity to appreciate the work of this great lady, who revolutionized the fashion of her time, through the modernity and elegance of her cuts, drapery and embroidery. Guided tour with Alber Elbaz, who was personally involved in the preparations for this exhibition, which brings together some one hundred dresses from the Lanvin collection and the museum.
