Famous for “Right Here Waiting”, a mythical slow song written in the 80’s, American singer Richard Marx has never stopped composing songs for himself and many other artists. Now he’s back with “Beautiful Goodbye” (Zanzibar/Kobalt), an album that will delight fans of both romantic ballads (Eyes On Me) and rock songs (Forgot To Remember). As always, Richard Marx has surrounded himself with the finest musicians (Matt Scannell, Michael Landau…) and co-wrote “Beautiful Goodbye” with his partner, supermodel Daisy Fuentes. 11 tracks that prove that, at 50, he’s still an outstanding melodist and the best (and perhaps last) representative of the true US pop rock scene.
