A temple of well-being and relaxation, the Spa du Mandarin Oriental, Paris presents its new Oriental Wellness offering available from March1, 2014. 
A veritable sanctuary of soothing experiences, Mandarin Oriental, Paris offers a wellness interlude in the heart of Paris, with a complete program of relaxation and balanced nutrition.
The program begins with a one-hour yoga session to get the body and mind in shape. The class is led by Malati Haliche, a teacher specializing in three types of yoga: the highly relaxing Hatha yoga, the more enduring Ashtanga vinyasa, ideal for cardio and muscle strengthening, and Iyengar yoga, based on correct body alignment.
The spa therapists then take over. They offer a 50-minute facial and body sculpting treatment. Treatments are tailored to the needs of the guest, whose general condition will have been assessed in advance during a personalized interview. These tailor-made treatments are provided in collaboration with products from the English brand Aromatherapy Associates.
And for the ladies, Guerlain’s make-up offers a beauty makeover.
This unique experience concludes with lunch at Bar 8 or on the garden terrace. to enjoy the return of fine weather. Thierry Marx, an expert in a cuisine that combines delicacies and well-being, has come up with specially adapted dishes such as a Thai beef salad or tasty steamed Dim Sum. To round things off in style, pastry chef Pierre Mathieu offers a selection of light, low-sugar pastries, such as the Mandarin for chocolate lovers, or the airy Saint-Honoré.
Also on offer at Bar 8 is “TM 4 – L’Eau Furieuse”, a detoxifying and invigorating beverage created by Chef Thierry Marx, combining star anise, ginger, sugar, lemon and lime juice and sparkling water.
The Oriental Wellness offer is available from March1, 2014 and therefore includes:
A one-hour yoga session
A 50-minute body sculpting treatment at the Spa
A 50-minute facial treatment at the Spa
For the ladies, a make-up session with Guerlain products at the Spa
Lunch at Bar 8 with a dish from the day’s selection and a dessert of the Comptoir des Pâtisseries’ choice.
