Already recognized internationally, designer Pascal Piveteau is setting up shop in France. His speciality: 100% leather garments.
After a 20-year career as a company director, Pascal Piveteau decided to exploit his artistic and creative talent by turning to fashion. To share his daughter’s equestrian passion, he created a collection of all-leather riding clothes. It was then that he discovered the potential of stretch leather. He then developed his1st collection of leather garments for men and women.
Pascal Piveteau has a strong international presence, particularly on the Asian and American markets. His1st fashion show in Hong Kong in 2013 was a success. Prestigious stores and celebrities like Sharon Stone, Felicity Hoffmann and Claude Lelouch are snapping up his collections.
And its trump card: the design of the garments. The leather used comes from various European tanneries. They are then reprocessed and cut in Paris. Everything is done by hand, from cutting to assembly. Artisans bring skins to life: crocodile is smoothed with Agate stone, pythons are hand-painted.
Authentic craftsmanship makes these products extremely luxurious. The garments are produced from a pattern created by the patternmaker. Each garment is therefore unique and original. The amount of work and costs required for each product means that models cannot be produced in unlimited numbers. The customer buys rarity. All pieces are signed by Pascal Piveteau himself on a sewn-in label.
The work of the craftsmen undoubtedly enhances the elegance of the collections. Pascal Piveteau has a boutique in the 16th arrondissement and a showroom on rue Caumartin. His collections are also available on his website.
