Lalique’s emblematic men’s fragrance writes a new page in its history with Encre Noire. This new interpretation comes alive with the codes of Sport, associated with the luxury and refinement of the House. Between the tenebrous lines of its woody signature, a wave of freshness unfurls. .
For its Sport version, the line retains the architecture of the original bottle, but dons new colors. The luxurious glass cube, with its rigorous lines inspired by René Lalique’s 1913 Biches inkwell, is elegantly dressed in grey. Playing on contrasts, red takes center stage to give impetus to this new interpretation. The bottle is topped by a gray wooden cap. The bottle is housed in a silver case encircled by a black band echoing the relief of the wood, featuring the fragrance’s name in silver and the word Sport in red.
The top notes are energetic grapefruit and bergamot, invigorated by cypress and finely aromatic lavender: Encre Noire opens up to the light. In the heart, the freshness of aquatic notes, enhanced by nutmeg, lets two vetivers breathe: Bourbon Vetiver, warm, mellow and leathery, and Haiti Vetiver, mysterious and boldly smoky. A new woody, sensual and invigorating story written by Nathalie Lorson, author of Encre Noire.
