Maison Hine, a firm believer in sharing moments with friends, presents its signature aperitif: the Hine Ball. A refreshing two-ingredient recipe that’s easy to make behind a bar or at home: 5cl of H by Hine are layered with ginger ale, over ice. Dip in a zest of orange – and a slice of ginger for the more adventurous – and you’re ready to go!

A dream companion for surprising cocktails, H by Hine was born in 2004 out of a collaboration between Maison Hine’s cellar master, Eric Forget, and bartenders from London and New York. Floral, fruity and lively, H by Hine takes cognac off the beaten track and makes way for sunny, festive consumption: the Hine Ball has become a must-have aperitif!

Traditionally, a highball is a spirit stretched out with soda and lots of ice. Particularly popular in Japan after a long day at work, the highball has become a classic aperitif. A play on words later, that’s all it took to see the House of Hine’s iconic cocktail, H by Hine with ginger ale, renamed Hine Ball.

A breath of fresh air for cognac The Hine Ball demystifies the consumption of cognac as an aperitif, in the age of spritz, gin and tonic and moscow mule. Simple and spring-like, it invites itself into the home without leaving anyone indifferent.
