The fruit of a meticulous selection of a dozen parcels located between the Dordogne and Garonne rivers, this micro-cuvée smells of the ocean. A relatively dry, warm winter, followed by a cool, rainy spring and then a hot summer, has enabled the 2020 vintage to develop a subtle expression of fruit, combined with a fine balance of flavors. Thanks to their in-depth, intimate knowledge of the Bordeaux vineyards, Mouton Cadet’s oenologists have selected, hand-in-hand with their winegrower-partners, the parcels offering the best grapes in the heart of the highest-quality terroirs. Produced on HVE-certified farms, Les Parcelles Rosé is made with respect for terroir and people. All the expertise of the Baron Philippe de Rothschild teams is expressed in this rosé, thanks to the quality of its origin and the care taken in its elaboration. A fruity, gourmet 2019
The result of a meticulous plot selection, the 2019 vintage of Mouton Cadet Rouge Bio is characterized by fruity aromas and volume, conferred by the clay-limestone soils, and depth and concentration thanks to the gravelly hillside soils. A blend of Merlot (87%), Cabernet Sauvignon (7%) and Cabernet Franc (6%), this cuvée is morello cherry in color, with lovely crimson highlights. The initial nose is marked by an explosion of red fruit. Aeration reveals a charming bouquet of ripe red and black fruits. The attack on the palate is frank, characterized by a beautiful expression of red berries (Morello cherry, raspberry). Voluminous, the mid-palate reveals a beautiful complexity combining aromas of black fruits and sweet spices which persist, bringing length and voluptuousness to the finish.
