Can’t find the location on your sonar? Don’t panic on board, it’s a secret location and the door is locked unless you ring the bell. Well, not quite. While a few submariners stop off at night, insiders have the key. It was given to them when they bought an exceptional bottle, and too bad if the bill is steep, because at 20,000 leagues under the sea, it’s got to flow (but watch out for seasickness!).
The key is part of the “cabin-service”: it includes the good care of the head bartender and the crew, as well as the essential ingredients for making a tasty cocktail. In short, UC-61 has prepared 50 keys for insiders who order one of these high-end bottles (of their choice). They will be kept in the hold of UC-61 until their owners return.
