Samsung enriches its audio range with an innovative, high-performance wireless loudspeaker that blends into any decor.

A curiosity to discover at 107 Rivoli, on the occasion of the Year of Korea in France, which began in September 2015.

1ENCEINTE, 1 EXPERIENCE

It’s off the beaten track. It breaks with codes and fashions. Its name: the Audio 360 loudspeaker. Its (very) distinctive feature: it broadcasts high-quality, homogeneous sound at 360°. A unique experience, thanks to ring radiator technology from Samsung’s research laboratory, which enables sound to be broadcast in all directions. You can move or change position, but the 360 speaker’s omni-directional sound remains the same. And there’s no loss of sound when you move from one room to another, thanks to Multiroom compatibility. Conceived and designed by Samsung teams, the Audio 360 speaker also stands out for its design. Its curves and ovoid shape make it a timeless decorative object that can find its place in any
type of interior. White or black, raised on its Tripod stand or not, the speaker can be set up and displayed.
From a practical point of view, its operation is extremely intuitive. Even the softness of its coating, in ceramic white or carbon black, encourages touch and interactivity. Because the Audio 360 loudspeaker integrates WiFi and Bluetooth, and connects wirelessly to a TV, smartphone or tablet. Wireless Audio System compatibility also enables the Audio 360 to be controlled via the Multiroom application.

1 ENCLOSURE, 2 EVENTS

As the Year of Korea in France kicked off in September 2015, and continues until August 2016, several highlights will feature Samsung’s Audio 360 speaker.
– To coincide with the KOREA exhibition at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, which tells the story of Korea through fashion, graphics and design, the 107 Rivoli museum store is presenting a month-long selection of objects including the Audio 360 loudspeaker from October 15.
– At the same time, Korean designers Kwang-Ho Lee and June Lee are offering limited editions of Samsung’s new speaker.

SAMSUNG AND SOUND

In 2014, the Samsung Audio Lab was born in California. The mission of this state-of-the-art acoustic research laboratory is to innovate in audio, with a view to creating high-quality products. Researchers and engineers apply new methods of sound measurement and acoustic modelling to create world-class audio products. One of the laboratory’s first major inventions was ring radiator technology. Capable of refining sound and distributing it – without distorting it – evenly throughout a room, this was used to develop the Audio 360 loudspeaker.
