Lubov Azria was inspired to create the new Hervé Léger collection during a visit to Gaudi’s Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. The focus is on short dresses, all reworked with 3D effects, such as glass beads and embroidered metal studs evoking rays of sunlight, or textured jacquards recalling the stained glass windows of the famous cathedral. Applied leather and the “famous” harness-like bands emphasize the body’s curves. Models that will always be a hit on the red carpet. Of particular note are the Spanish colors featured on certain pieces, and the coordinating jackets that can be worn over both dresses and pants.
