SANDRO LAUNCHES ITS SECOND-HAND SERVICE FOR MORE SUSTAINABLE AND RESPONSIBLE FASHION

Since 1984, Sandro’s creative teams have been creating ready-to-wear and accessories collections that combine elegance and casualness while expressing a certain idea of Parisian allure. Every day, the teams strive to produce creations that are not only modern and high-quality, but also durable. In fact, each piece is designed to capture the latest trends, but is developed and manufactured to last.

Driven by the personal convictions of Evelyne and Ilan Chetrite, Founders and Artistic Directors, Sandro reaffirms its efforts to contribute to the transition towards more responsible, sustainable and circular fashion. Convinced that the durability of collections goes beyond the season for which they are made, Sandro wishes to open a new chapter for them, responding to today’s concerns, by launching the new Sandro Seconde Main service.

THE CONCEPT

Sandro has made the process as easy as possible for people wishing to resell their products, and has simplified every step as much as possible.

After filling in a form on the Sandro Seconde Main website, the seller sends his pieces to the Sandro teams. After authentication and quality control, a voucher is immediately sent.

This voucher enables the customer to purchase new Sandro pieces in the boutique or online. Sandro teams then take care of putting the collected pieces back on sale on the platform, offering a qualitative shopping experience in line with the brand’s image.

This circular approach represents a new milestone in Sandro’s commitment to responsible business practices, which was initiated several years ago by Evelyne and Ilan Chetrite.

These actions are part of a 360° approach to eco-responsible fashion. From the purchase of raw materials to manufacturing, transport and distribution, Sandro is committed at every stage of a product’s life.

For example, to date, almost 50% of Sandro designs are eco-responsible, and by 2025 the ambition is to reach 70% of collections.

Environmental and societal considerations are at the heart of Sandro’s foundations, and their reinforcement is a strategic pillar in the development of the Parisian brand over the coming years.
