Reebok is an English brand, known for its classics, its innovative spirit (first women’s-only sneakers in 1982) and its prestigious ambassadors, from Shaquille O’Neal to Serena Williams.

For its collection with Maison Kitsuné, Reebok tackles a classic American sport: baseball. An unavoidable unifying force on the other side of the Atlantic, it smells of stripes, teddys and high socks.

Preppy and vintage accents for a collection inspired by the uniforms of New York’s top teams. The oversized logos, teddys and “high school” spirit are aimed at a young generation that doesn’t mind September. A sporty yet chic welcome, in cotton sweatshirts and “Classic Leather Nylon” sneakers combining suede, leather and polyester.

Uniforms with a special logo for the occasion: the Maison Kitsuné fox wears a baseball cap to symbolize the ReebokX Kitsuné team. Uniforms that are in keeping with the idea of basic pieces that can be easily combined with the whole wardrobe. Pieces that combine classic and modern to ensure they are always effective: a credo that is unique to Maison Kistuné, founded in 2002 by Gildas Loaëc and Masaya Kuroki .

A first encounter for the two houses, who deliver a collection that revives the iconic look of American baseball players. A meeting that seemed obvious for houses that share a strong musical identity and a pronounced taste for innovation (technical with Rebook’s sharp sneakers, or in concepts: Kitsuné extends its know-how via a music label, or Kitsuné cafés).
