A new tale, one set in winter, when opulent jewels and embroidery dressed women and testified to their status. The young London fashion house once again proves its mastery of techniques, with a savoir-faire that pays homage to small hands. The embroideries reveal crystals and soft pearls: the time it takes to make them is too long to calculate… Patience is a luxury, but the result is well worth the effort.
Winning couple, Tamara Ralph (Artistic Director) and Michael Russo (CEO) seem to have found an exceptional balance, offering collections that give couture back its letters of nobility, while avoiding the facile classics. The modernity infused into the collections stands out in their volumes and graphic play.
Drawing inspiration from great names such as Fabergé – who influenced the volume and embroidery of the coats – and Lesage for its work on the volumes embraced by the floral embroidery, the house demonstrates a keen knowledge of the masters of luxury, and revives them in a more contemporary version.
