Karimirror: original mirrors by Karim Rashid

Robba Edition presents KARIMIRROR, an original collection of designer mirrors by Karim Rashid.

This exclusive collection features several mirrors in acrylic glass. They use the technical possibilities of digital cutting and engraving. The shapes of these laser-engraved mirrors are astonishing. They play on repetition to dress up our interiors. The mirror becomes a decorative object rather than a simple functional one.

Robba Edition is a French publisher. It is the first to use acrylic glass and digital cutting in its mirror creations. Mirrors are always made in France, signed by top designers such as Arik Levy, J.C de Castelbajac and Jean-Marie Massaud.

For Karimirror, the publisher gave Anglo-Egyptian designer Karim Rashid carte blanche. This world-renowned designer has been honored with over 300 awards in almost 40 countries. A creator in the world of luxury and mass-market products, Karim Rashid has a very particular universe. The designer’s collections are presented in over 20 permanent collections in galleries around the world.

Karim Rashid has created four mirror models for this Karimirror collection:

– Mirage: The deflection of rays gives the impression that the object reflected is an illusion.

– Karma: The engraved organic curves represent the cycle of causes and consequences linked to the existence of beings.

– Supernova: here, Karim revisits the oval mirror, adding highly feminine undulations to brighten up the room.

– Tattoo: This mirror can be enlarged ad infinitum by juxtaposing the small engraved icons.
