English luxury brand L.K.Bennett has unveiled its new Spring/Summer 2014 campaign. A campaign featuring rising catwalk star Sam Rollinson for the main collections. A 100% British collaboration between photographer Scott Trindle and stylist Deep Kailey (Fashion Director DeTatler).
Founded in London in 1990, the brand quickly made a name for itself with its “kitten heel”. Initially specializing in footwear, it wasn’t until 1998 that the brand moved into ready-to-wear. L.K.Bennett has established itself as a fashion leader, with 143 points of sale worldwide.
“A London Rose” was the starting point for the Spring collection. The rose, a vintage flower, echoes the brand’s heritage and embodies natural beauty. The shapes are ample and the garments made of black, navy blue or cream tones. Pink and pastel blue are also key colors for the new season. The Summer collection is more feminine and chic. It is inspired by a love story by the sea. A very acidic color palette: raspberry, coral or lemon. Fresh, modern collections with a very English touch for timeless clothes.
The muse, Sam Rollinson, was not chosen at random. She was named Model of the Year at the 2013 British Fashion Awards. Revealed in the 2010 Burberry campaign (shot by Mario Testino), she has already worked with the greats such as Balenciaga, Valentino and Sonia Rykiel.
The collections will be available in March 2014 and in February on the Internet.
