Last Wednesday, on the Bassin de la Villette, the Antipode barge hosted a private evening to present the beta version of Artbeat, a new exchange platform and social network dedicated to the art world.
The evening took place in a universe imagined by Natacha Mankowski, the platform’s young architect and scenographer. The barge was transformed into a SUPERPOOL, lined with silver and filled with multicolored balloons.
With a multi-cultural identity built up between Paris and New York, the Artbeat team has made it its mission to contribute to the development of the art market and, above all, to help talented artists young and promising people to make themselves known to professionals through the platform, in all cultural fields.
For this, artbeat.net will be the main tool; it will be a way for artists to manage their page, publish their works and share them with other members; in short, artists will be able to have an overview of their cultural life and manage it more easily.
Artbeat will also provide artists with interesting outlets through partnerships with various cultural venues. Added to this, Artbeat will publish art books to offer artists even more promotion and opportunities! Getting artists to meet and exchange ideas, as well as relaying events, is Artbeat’s plan, which also includes the release of a mobile application.
The final launch of the site is scheduled for February 2014; but you can already visit the Artbeat website to discover the concept and the platform.
