Ideally located just a stone’s throw from the Champs-Elysées and the Arc de Triomphe, the Citrus Etoile gourmet restaurant is a place to discover. We had lunch there and met its charismatic chef Gilles Epié.

The restaurant is a warm and friendly place where cuisine rhymes with poetry, run by Gilles Epié and his wife Elisabeth. It’s a true tandem that runs the place and offers its own universe. Gastronomic, the restaurant unveils a subtle and refined cuisine evoking flavors from Asia or California. Exquisite tastes, gourmet or sparkling dishes. A wide range of flavors and delicacies. Delicate, innovative dishes reflect an unusual cuisine. The latter blends with the classicism of French gastronomy and illustrates the Chef’s talents. Gilles Epié is a true contortionist in the kitchen, as his latest TV projects demonstrate. Using pure products, he takes pleasure in revisiting and lightening the great classics of French gastronomy. Creativity and inventiveness express themselves on the plate, taking us on a culinary voyage of discovery. A hint of California-inspired exoticism is enough to transform classic flavors into subtle gourmet escapades. Tastings and surprises are the Chef’s niche, as he aims to please and please himself. Sunny and sparkling, in the image of this country so close to his heart and where he spent several years, his cuisine lives to the rhythm of his inspirations. His creations express their originality, and his dishes shine with their lightness and originality. In short, an innovative and passionate style of cooking.
