To create Viking Heart 15 Years Old, Gordon Motion selected different types of sherry casks. European casks bring balance and spicy notes, while American casks offer a smooth vanilla roundness.
This unique maturation enhances the fruity, slightly smoky character of Highland Park single malt. The distillery’s signature subtle blend of sweetness and strength is fully expressed.
A creamy mouthfeel with notes of crème brûlée
From the very first nose, Viking Heart reveals a beautiful aromatic complexity blending crème brûlée, heather honey and spices. On the palate, the creamy, full-bodied texture reveals flavors of vanilla, candied citrus and juicy pineapple.
The finish is distinguished by the persistent smoky signature of Highland Park whisky, softened by luscious hints of honey and fruit. A rich, balanced profile thanks to the talent of the cellar master.
A limited edition in a ceramic bottle
Bottled at 44% alcohol, Viking Heart 15 Year Old is presented in a unique case: a custom-made ceramic bottle. Inspired by the distillery’s historic containers, the bottle features the brand’s emblematic shapes and details.
