Huawei has announced the launch of HUAWEI Sound Joy, its first portable speaker designed with Devialet. This compact, elegant and portable speaker is designed for everyday use. It offers incredible ease of use and high-end sound experiences to users wherever they go. Its all-new woven fabric offers IP67 dust and water resistance and a non-slip surface, so it’s tough and durable in any situation. With its built-in high-capacity battery providing up to 26 hours of playback and fast-charging support, the HUAWEI Sound Joy speaker is ideal for livening up any party, even outdoors.

With a height of 202 mm, a weight of 680 g and a diameter of 73 mm, the

Huawei and Devialet co-develop unique sounds
The launch of the HUAWEI Sound Joy loudspeaker combines the expertise of Huawei and Devialet, one of the world’s most recognized brands in HiFi and acoustic know-how. Leveraging Devialet’s SAM® technology, HUAWEI Sound Joy offers more authentic audio experiences with minimal sound distortion. Its signature passive Push-Push membrane includes two diaphragms positioned back-to-back to compensate for sound waves for cleaner, distortion-free sound. The HUAWEI Sound Joy also features a two-way speaker system to deliver powerful high frequencies and deep bass at high volume. It includes a tweeter and a speaker unit dedicated to midrange and bass, which when combined produce cleaner sounds.
Despite its small 0.25 l sound cavity, the HUAWEI Sound Joy loudspeaker can deliver up to 79 dBA at 2 m. Even in noisy environments or outdoor spaces, this speaker will always delight users with its powerful, high-quality music.
Long autonomy and fast charging
Thanks to its 8,800 mAh battery, the HUAWEI Sound Joy speaker offers long-lasting autonomy of 26 hours on a full charge. This enables users to enjoy an unrivalled audio experience when traveling or when there is no power supply nearby. Even when the battery level is low, its 40 W fast-charge function enables users to recharge their HUAWEI Sound Joy quickly and safely.
In just 10 minutes of charging time, the speaker can operate for a further hour.

A smarter listening experience with HUAWEI Sound Joy
HUAWEI Sound Joy is packed with smart features to help users enjoy their music in different situations. The Shake Stereo Link Up function allows two HUAWEI Sound Joy units to be paired and connected by shaking the two speakers together to create a stereo system, offering a more immersive and stimulating sound experience, especially at parties. Thanks to the One-Touch Transfer function, users can easily connect their device to the speaker and instantly transfer their music to it. All they have to do is affix their smartphone to the top of the HUAWEI Sound Joy speaker. By pressing the Voice Assistant button, users can send requests to the voice assistant on their smartphone or tablet – even if it’s not a Huawei smartphone or tablet – to turn the HUAWEI Sound Joy speaker into an intelligent assistant. The way users control playback and sound volume is smarter too. HUAWEI Sound Joy’s HUAWEI Watch Control function allows users to pause, skip tracks and increase or decrease volume easily from their HUAWEI watch. With Automatic Discovery, users can simply tap the HUAWEI Sound Joy speaker to connect it to a nearby smartphone, laptop or tablet. As no additional cables or settings are required on the devices, HUAWEI Sound Joy is an ideal external speaker for the office, home and anywhere else. The new speaker also features a multi-colored ring for attractive lighting effects.
The HUAWEI Sound Joy speaker is available for pre-order now and will go on sale on November 10, 2021 at a recommended retail price of €149.
