Canon unveils the long-awaited new flagship of its SLR range: theEOS-1D X Mark II. Developed to provide professionals with outstanding image quality, resolution and responsiveness. From the outset, the EOS-1D X Mark II has set new benchmarks in terms of acquisition speed: 14 fps with full AF and exposure tracking, and 16 fps in viewfinder mode. An unprecedented level of performance, ideal for photographing stealthy or fast-moving subjects. This makes the camera particularly well-suited to wildlife and sports photography.
The new EOS-1D X Mark II has been developed using feedback from EOS-1D X users. It features a new 20.2-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor, new Ai Servo AF III+ autofocus and 4K video capture at up to 60p. These technical features make it the new benchmark SLR for professional photography and video.
It will go on sale at the end of May 2016, at a recommended retail price of €6,349 incl. VAT.
