HONOR announces the French launch of the MagicBook 14 and MagicBook 15. This is an important milestone for HONOR, marking its entry into the global PC industry. Portability and multi-device connectivity have become essential in the European market. According to a study by Canalys, 41% of those questioned are equipped with more than one connected device at work or elsewhere. In addition, a high level of interoperability and compatibility between devices is required. In line with HONOR’s 1+8+N IoT strategy, an ecosystem that integrates a smartphone, eight additional connected product categories and a wide range of third-party devices, the global launch of the HONOR MagicBook series will be one of the milestones in reinforcing the brand’s commitment to developing a connected, intelligent environment. HONOR MagicBook 14 features a compact, slim and lightweight design. Aimed at students and young professionals, the uniquely aesthetic HONOR MagicBook 14 features a battery life of up to 10 hours, a FullView display with maximized screen-to-body ratio, a powerful processor for ultra-fast performance and enhanced graphics, and intelligent interconnection between HONOR smartphones and the notebook.

10-hour autonomy in a lightweight, compact body
Elegant and lightweight, the HONOR MagicBook 14 weighs just 1.38 kg and is just 15.9 mm thick. It slips easily into most bags, giving users ultra-portability and unrivalled performance on the move. Powered by a 56Wh high-density battery, the HONOR MagicBook 14 offers 10 hours of non-stop productivity without charging. A fully charged HONOR MagicBook 14 can respectively power 10 hours of office work, 9.5 hours of local 1080P video playback, and 9.4 hours of continuous web browsing. Users can count on its exceptional autonomy and performance, even on long days on the move.
Equipped with a compact charger with USB type-C connectivity and 65W fast charging capacity, the HONOR MagicBook 14 can achieve a 46% charge in just half an hour. To guarantee optimum safety, the overload capacity is protected by a fail-safe overheating mechanism that automatically cuts off the power supply if necessary. Weighing just 160 g, the charger is ultra-portable, and its size is comparable to that of a phone charger. This versatile charger, with two Type-C connectors, serves as a cable for data transfer, eliminating the need to carry several chargers and cables when leaving the workplace or home.
Stunning minimalist design, coupled with a FullView display

Going beyond convention, the HONOR MagicBook 14 features ultra-thin 4.8 mm borders on three sides, maximizing the screen-to-body ratio to 84%. The fully laminated 1980 x 1080P display reduces light reflection on the LCD screen, creating an immersive, lifelike display, even in direct sunlight. What’s more, the TÜV Rheinland-certified screen reduces excessive blue light for safer, more comfortable reading. Thanks to an almost 180-degree hinge, users can adjust their screen to different angles, enabling them to enjoy a comfortable viewing experience.

The MagicBook 14 is also equipped with an ultra-fast 256GB PCIe NVMe SSD, with read speeds up to five times faster than a standard SATA SSD, maximizing productivity.
The HONOR MagicBook series features an innovative and efficient fan design, with S-shaped fan blades. The unique design of the fan blades reduces noise and increases heat dissipation by up to 38%, helping to maintain a comfortable temperature in all environments.

Users can now cross-collaborate between their HONOR smartphone and MagicBook with a simple touch. |
Magic-Link 2.0 allows users to share the smartphone screen and files on the laptop; they can drag, drop and edit their files, using the same keyboard and mouse. The laptop also enables users to pick up exactly where they left off, without having to switch from one device to another. Multitasking becomes easier than ever.
To cater for different consumer preferences and needs, HONOR has also launched the HONOR MagicBook 15. Weighing in at just 1.53 kg, the device features a 15.6-inch FullView display, bringing the screen-to-body ratio to 87%. Equipped with an AMD Ryzen™ 5 3500U mobile processor with Radeon™ Vega 8 Graphics, 8GB of dual-channel DDR4 RAM and a high-performance 256GB PCIe NVMe SSD, as well as Magic-Link 2.0, the HONOR MagicBook 15 is a powerful, compact notebook without compromising on performance or aesthetics.
Available from April 16 (for the 14-inch version) in ” Space Gray ” and ” Mystic Silver ” colors, the MagicBook 14 and 15 will both be priced at €599.
