As the sun gently spreads its springtime rays, newly-hatched buds blossom into clusters of verdant leaves, the green setting of the Hôtel de Berri, a Luxury Collection, Paris hotel located in the heart of the Golden Triangle, is adorned with a thousand plant wonders. This 2,000 m² park is the backdrop to the Bar Bizazz, which, in thanksgiving to Persephone, unveils its new spring offering dedicated to tea. A SPRING IN BERRI Tea in all its states In a refined ambience, wide comfortable armchairs invite you to let go, with a view of the green, to fully enjoy an immersive and sensory experience concocted by Jérémie Hallez, the establishment’s Tea Sommelier. From the choice of terroir, provenance and aromas to the definition of the final blend, Jérémie offers a French-style tea ceremony. Teas from China, Japan, Korea and India invite you to escape, while black and green teas can be blended with Tonka beans, Ceylon cinnamon, lavender and violets, and can be enjoyed hot or iced. Six choices of herbal teas presented in stems complete the offer, along with a selection of pastries and tapas paired by the Tea Sommelier. For those looking for an afternoon of daydreaming without seeing the hours tick by, Jérémie has created an original and invigorating Tea-Cocktail menu. Among his creations, like an ode to nature, is Swing and Twist, a tea-cocktail based on gin infused with rosemary, a traditional plant liqueur, verbena, basil, lime and homemade eucalyptus syrup, enough to crown a beautiful spring day.
